How we work: walkthrough to coated floor in one day

No mystery pricing, no multi-week projects, no install-day surprises. Here's the entire process — what happens, in what order, and what you'll know before anyone starts — from the first call to the first time you park on the new floor.

Step 1

Call or email — tell us about the surface

Start with a call to (904) 569-5257 or an email. All we need up front is the surface (garage, pool deck, patio, driveway, commercial), a rough size, and the slab's condition — bare, painted, or wearing an old coating. Photos help. From that we can usually give you a realistic ballpark from the published cost ranges on the spot.

Step 2

The walkthrough — measure, moisture-test, sample chips

An installer walks the space: measures it properly, tests the slab for moisture (the silent killer of Florida coatings — here's why), and checks for cracks, spalling, and old coatings that need grinding off. You'll also see physical flake sample chips against your actual light and house colors, not a screen. Twenty to thirty minutes, and every question gets a straight answer — including "do you diamond-grind?" (always) and "what's in each layer?" (polyurea base, polyaspartic top).

Step 3

A free, itemized quote — usually same-day

You get a written quote with every line priced separately: the system, the prep, any crack repair or old-coating removal, and the finish you picked. That itemization is your protection — it means the price was built from what your slab actually needs, and nothing gets "discovered" on install day. No obligation, no deposit pressure, and the quote stands while you compare. We'd rather you ask other companies the prep question and call us back.

Step 4

Install day — the one-day system

On the day: the crew diamond-grinds the slab to a clean profile (dust-contained, never acid-etched), repairs cracks and joints, then builds the floor — polyurea base coat, full flake broadcast, and a UV-stable polyaspartic top coat. A standard 2-car garage runs morning to late afternoon; the full hour-by-hour timeline is here. You don't need to be home for most of it — just reachable.

Step 5

Cure, care, and what's covered

You can walk on the floor in hours and park in about 24 — the crew leaves you exact times for your system and weather. After that, upkeep is genuinely minimal: a broom, a hose or mop, and almost nothing else. Warranty terms are stated in writing on your quote, so what's covered — and for how long — is settled before work ever starts, not negotiated after.

Straight answers

Process questions

Is the quote really free and itemized?

Yes — written, line-item, usually same-day, no obligation. System, prep, repairs, and finish each priced separately, so nothing gets "discovered" later.

What happens during the walkthrough?

Measuring, a slab moisture test, a crack and old-coating check, and finish samples — about 20–30 minutes. Bring your questions; straight answers are the point.

When can I use the floor?

Walk on it in hours, park in about 24. Most residential jobs are a single install day, grind to seal.

Are the installers insured?

Yes — independent, insured installers, with warranty terms stated in writing on your quote. What's covered is settled before work starts.
